Anti-corrosion treatment St Peter's Port - Guernsey Harbour - UK

The aim of the project was to repair and do a corrosion treatment of 6 tubular spiral welded piles (800 mm diameter, 6 m high) in tidal conditions. The unique properties of Humidur® allow working in such conditions. The coating was applied at low tide in dry conditions but at a high relative humidity. High tide was not a problem as Humidur® can cure under water.


The treatment included following steps: blasting, welding, water jetting, grit-blasting, stripe coating and airless spraying of Humidur® anti-corrosion coating.
