Humidur® is specified as coating repair system by Shell on the Brent Bravo Platform

The Acotec full renovation system (cofferdam technology + Humidur coatings) is being used to restore the steel sheet piles of the Suez Canal in Egypt.

Acotec supplies Humidur® to Chevron in Angola. The coating will be used on offshore structures. More information will follow later.

Acotec participated successfully in the Climbing for Life event

It is with deep regret that we announce that Acotec’s founder and partner, Mr. Willy Sonck, passed away on Sunday the 9th of August 2015. Willy will be remembered as engineer, researcher, entrepreneur, someone who was full of ideas and who fully enjoyed life. No words can express our sadness at Willy’s death nor our gratitude for what he has done for Acotec. We will keep his memory alive by dedicating ourselves to the work he started 40 years ago. Our heart goes out to his family and friends and all those who were close to him.

After testing Humidur® in harsh conditions on offshore wind turbines, Belwind concluded that Humidur® is suited as repair system.

We are welcoming Amaury d'Ursel, our newest project manager, and Jorg Van den Borre, who is joining our R&D team.

From May to September 2015, ® is applied as anti-corrosion coating on the TLM Claymore platform

Tocardo, manufacturer of tidal and free-flow water turbines, applies Humidur® as anti-corrosion coating on the housing and inner parts of its turbines.

For Backus SABMiller, the largest brewery in Peru, Acotec applied Humidur® on concrete chlorination tanks

Acotec has been awarded the project to lengthen the drainage discharge pipes and to conserve offshore pile foundations at the Purfleet terminal in the UK.

Humidur was selected to protect the steel pipework and reinforcement beams for the biggest construction project in Amsterdam for years: the North-South Subway - Stations Rokin, Ceintuurbaan and Vijzelgracht.

Humidur® has been applied as repair system on Thanet Offshore Windfarm

8 years after application of Humidur® on sheet piles in Duluth, USA, the coating is in excellent condition. The sheet piles are exposed to a highly abrasive and corrosive environment.
