In 2007, Humidur® was applied on heavily corroded (pitted) sheet piles as anti-corrosion system. The sheet piles are exposed to extreme conditions. In winter, ice formation results in a highly abrasive environment. Humidur® was chosen as system because of its anti-corrosive properties and high abrasion resistance.
After inspection in 2015, the Humidur® system proved to be in excellent condition. Humidur® resists the highly abrasive and corrosive environment.
