Diving Chambers of Boka Atlantis & Boka Da Vinci

The Boka Atlantis and the Boka Da Vinci, diving support vessels operated by Boskalis Subsea Services, required refurbishment of several diving equipment areas due to severe corrosion from prolonged marine exposure. Based on previous positive experiences, Boskalis chose Humidur® Coatings as the ideal solution.

The project involved refurbishing the interiors of the port and starboard diving chambers, the trunks (transition sections between the chambers and wet pots), and the wet pots. After dismantling all technical components, Acotec removed existing coatings and corrosion by grit blasting, followed by the application of the solvent-free Humidur® coating.

Thanks to Humidur®’s single-layer system, downtime was minimized, allowing the vessel to return to service quickly.
