The aim of this project was to perform coating repairs and touch-ups on the anti-corrosion protection of ballast tanks, COT, produced water tanks, slop tanks, and the aft peak tank.
As the coating contained no solvents, air-assisted spray hoods were not required. This allowed multiple activities to be carried out simultaneously, such as spraying in one ballast tank while welding took place in an adjacent tank.
Acotec supervised the application process and assisted with quality control inspections.
