A unique and proven system
Acotec develops and builds Dry Setting Installations (DZI) that provide safe and dry access to submerged structures. This patented technology is unique and has been successfully used over the past decades in worldwide locations. These mobile caissons are built from standard modular sections and then customized to fit the needs of a specific project location. Various types of DZI’s are available, each for its own purpose: quay walls, jetty piles, mooring dolphins, berthing dolphins, concrete walls, brick walls, bridge columns, etc.
Economically viable technology
Depending on the location, a DZI can be installed onto a quay wall or jetty that is in continuous operation. Workers can still access the DZI while operations continue and the canal or river remains in full service for all shipping traffic. Downtime for the client and users of a DZI is minimal.
